Description
This was something I had made for Day of the Dead (a mexican holiday on November 1st and 2nd) back in 2009. I made this during my spanish class by painting on the glass of a picture frame. The design is a skull in the foreground with a silver cross with a blue rose wrapped around it in the background. The frame is painted in gold and silver paint with a vine of purple flowers around it.
Unfortunately, during the move the glass craked on the corner, but the overall effect actually looks nice. Since I am hispanic, I do have some pride in my mexican heritage (though I don't show it most of the time.) Please tell me what you think.

Hispanic culture is full of so many interesting and colorful traditions (like Day of the Dead) and it's nice to see some of that on Deviantart.
I like that you used the picture frame as your canvas. My favorite part is the silver cross and the blue rose.
